Technology in Learning

At Regency Park Primary School, we purposefully integrate a range of digital technologies to enhance learning and support the best possible outcomes for our students. Our well-resourced classrooms feature tools such as iPads, interactive whiteboards and laptops. When using these resources, our teachers are intentional and thoughtful, ensuring that technology meaningfully supports learning while maintaining a balanced and developmentally appropriate approach to its use in the classroom.

Our senior students utilise G-Suite tools to enhance collaboration, organisation and creativity, providing them with authentic opportunities to develop the digital skills needed for success beyond primary school.

All students engage with a range of robotics equipment, including Beebots, Ozobots, Spheros and LEGO Mindstorms, providing hands-on opportunities to explore coding, problem-solving and design thinking. This technology increases in complexity across year levels, enabling students to deepen their understanding of coding over time.

Complementing the use of technology in the classroom is our comprehensive investment in cyber safety, ensuring all students develop the knowledge and skills to use digital tools safely, ethically and responsibly.
