Ready for Regency!
What exciting times lie ahead! At Regency Park Primary School, we provide a comprehensive transition program for our new Prep students. Children engage in fun activities designed to build their confidence and friendships. All enrolled students receive a special “Ready for Regency” t-shirt to wear during their transition visits. By the time their first official school day arrives, they are truly Ready for Regency!
Transition Information & Dates for 2025–2026 Prep Students
We want you and your child to feel connected to our school and offer multiple opportunities to visit. In addition to formal visits in Term 4, families are welcome to visit on weekends to explore our playgrounds and spacious grounds.
These sessions are for enrolled 2026 Prep students and provide many opportunities for us to get to know your child.
During each session:
- Please come to the school hall near the staff carpark.
- Your child will be directed to different classrooms and activities.
- Collect your child’s name tag and sign them in and out for each session.
- Parents will have the opportunity to attend information sessions in the hall.
Transition Session Times
- Fridays in Term 4, from 2:15–3:15pm
Additional Important Events
- Information Night for parents in the school hall – Thursday 27th of November 6:30 – 7:30pm
- Meet the Teacher Day: Tuesday 9th December 9:30 – 1:00pm. On this day, your child will engage in activities with their 2026 teacher. All parents, children, and 2026 Prep teachers will join together at 12:00pm for a fun BBQ in the Year 1/2 playground area. This marks a positive conclusion to our transition program, ensuring a smooth start to the school year.
